Pasta is vary often served with little or no sauce, so that the flavors clings to the pasta instead of washing free of the noodle. Many a pasta is diminished by the addition of too many flavors, so keep it simple and true. The choice of the noodle to be used is very important.
A thin noodle like fettucine or linguine would be favorable.
